In the high tower of the haunted castle of Bellador, Giada lay on the cold, stone floor fighting for her last breath. She had left herself vulnerable to Vilandra's dark magic. It was only a moment… but that was all it took.

With the last of her energy, Giada imprinted an image into his mind. The image was of a beautiful, young woman with hair that spiralled to her waist in a mixture of gold and copper. Exotic, amber eyes twinkled with mischief above a pert nose sprinkled with freckles like gold dust.

"Evangeline…" Her name drifted into his mind like a whisper.

Now, his journey begins and his race against time to find her. He knows that if he fails and the dark witch finds her first, it will be the end of the Cloud Readers.
