"No, the kid didn't look as if he suffered from any negative effects, either."

"Why did you take the pills from him then?"

Gabriel flicked a glance at me. "He tried to hide them from me, so I took them."

"What—in class?"

"Yeah."

I raised an eyebrow. "Wow, you're strict. I thought you were a students' favorite."

He grinned at me and I felt breathless yet again.

"They like me strict."
