Victoria Alonso, or "Vic" for short, was the funniest, most confident and loyal Puerto Rican babe in Westchester County. That was her public persona, anyway, and everyone loved her.

Mia James, Vic's best friend since kindergarten, was a beautiful blond bombshell. No problem there until the day Mia introduced Vic to Max Cole. He sat on that Harley, looking hotter than any living, breathing man had a right to, with a dimpled grin and windswept wild-child hair. Vic wasn't in the market for a man, but there he sat anyway. He was delicious eye candy and made her legs wobble like lime Jell-O. Vic fell for him hard, but couldn't ignore the fact that Mia had had a brief but tempestuous affair with Max.

Vic hid her insecurities well under her tough-girl façade. Her hair was frizzy, and her butt was too big—she knew that competing with the gorgeous, perfect Mia would be next to impossible. Through heartache, crazy antics, laughter, and Merlot, Vic searched for her own truth. Letting go of her insecurities would show her how to love Max, Mia, and even herself.

Book Three: Destiny and a Bottle of Merlot

If Sasha Renaud had a calling, it was to be a domestic goddess.

Everyone was shocked when Sasha—the catty, self-centered high-fashion model—did an abrupt life change with such ease. She wanted to simplify things and live her destiny, or what she envisioned it to be. That meant men had to go. She couldn't be bothered with their kind. They were untrustworthy toxic waste, meant for a dump site and nothing more. There was only so much love to go around, and it wouldn't be wasted on the manflesh.

Josh Redmond, on the other hand, had plans all his own. He was smitten with Sasha. In his eyes, she was finer than the Mona Lisa, a goddess like no other. Josh, a well-known Realtor in town, was eye candy for sure, but he had a reputation, and it wasn't good. He was the local man-tramp—or womanizer, to put it nicely. He was determined to prove himself worthy of Sasha's attention. Josh was certain selling her the Victorian mansion of her dreams, and giving her a puppy as a house-warming gift, would softened her in his favor.

When Sasha received a menacing call one autumn afternoon, her newly perfected life went into a catastrophic, hurricane-level tailspin. In a split second, her Utopian dream was uprooted. With her crazy but loyal friends, and a lot of Merlot, Sasha set out to reinvent herself—again.

And because of Josh's kindness and patience, Sasha might allow love to fill her heart one more time.
