Koena Keneshia Selemela grew up in a village called Moletje - Ga- Rametloane outside Polokwane in Limpopo. She grew up under both her parents. She later pursued employment as a receptionist at a local community radio station in Alexandra Township (North of Johannesburg) called Alex FM. Koena’s book is about her life experiences in hard times and the betrayals by the people close to her whom she loved and trusted. Koena continues to inspire people and tell more stories in events, workshops and seminars.
