Reno swears revenge over his coward father, but love keeps getting in the way.

Reno Kanaloa Kent leaves his home in Hawaii to search for the father who abandoned him, his sister and mother for money. When he gets to New York he finds Lisette his father's goddaughter. His intention was to use her to get closer to him, but he didn't think he would end up falling in love with her.

Lisette finds out the man she loved only wanted to use her to get to the Kent family. At first she is angry but she feels hurt when he breaks up with her.

Reno leaves New York to look for his missing sister, but only comes back when he finds out Lisette was involved in a car accident. It is then when he starts to realize what is more important in his life, his love for Lisette. Although he feels like he is betraying his lost sister, Reno finds it hard to give up the woman he has in front of him for a sister he doesn't know whether or not she is dead or alive.
