Although setbacks are at first are negative experiences or awkward situations that no one wants to be in, these situations are important, although not necessary, for people to experience.

It is in experiencing setbacks that we learn to acknowledge various things that we need to learn the hard way; things that we cannot learn from formal classrooms and things that we can learn by experience.
