Maeve Buchanan grew up on the Canadian prairies in a family of avid readers. She spent much of her childhood curled up with a good book, and soon began imagining her own fictional worlds. Maeve has a degree in English and Medieval Studies and has been employed at a wide variety of interesting jobs, including graphic arts, building playgrounds in the Arctic, working as an historical interpreter, teaching medieval literature and marketing for a major bookstore chain. Maeve is also a visual artist and silversmith. After joining the Romance Writers of America and the Alberta Writers’ Guild, Maeve’s literary expertise and talent found a new home in the genre of contemporary fiction. Maeve lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
