Jake Morris is a regular, 13 year old boy from a small Alberta town. By all accounts his life is pretty normal but he lives with a lot of turmoil, both at home and school. He wants his life to change more than anything in the world and one hot summer afternoon, it does.

Jake finds a meteorite with a mysterious energy that affects anyone who touches it. Could he use these powers to help people? Could the powers be used for an evil purpose? His adventure kicks into high gear when he realizes that his meteorite is much more than just a rock. He and his friends are launched into the adult world of responsibilities and find out that life is complicated.
