Whoever was at the door started knocking and wouldn’t stop. First it was just a quick knock, all business. Then it became a rhythm, and I rubbed myself in rhythm to the knocks. Finally the knock became incessant and loud, like a cop who just wouldn’t quit, so I took my hand out of my shorts and answered the door.
