The contract begins and Maxi starts new life in the suburbs with a beautiful new house, and a new position at the firm. Maxi finds the period of adjustment difficult. Surprisingly, while building a new relationship with Amy, she learns that it’s possible to make new friendships. Amy moves into the house as Maxi’s new roommate, causing a rift with Amanda.

It doesn’t take long for Amy to get wind that something is up between Maxi and Amanda, and a scandal unfolds. Meanwhile, Maxi finds herself becoming more domesticated the more time she spends with socialites. When Amanda introduces Maxi and Amy to the Beach House Club, a whole new world of opportunities open up and Amy’s agenda quickly begins to unfold.
