Jenny A Wilkins' introduction to horses was a 7-day horse trek on Fraser Island, off the east coast of Australia in 1993. Her addiction to horseback riding took her to the rugged coast of Connemara in Ireland, the cattle routes around Avila in Spain, the Yorkshire moors, the mountains of West Virginia and the beaches of southern France. Her writing draws on her romantic memories of riding around the world.
