<p>Tom Simmons lives in Bristol, UK, with his wife and three children. Tom is a life-long fan of all things to do with sci-fi, fantasy, natural history and crime; Weiss & Hickman, J.R.R.Tolkien, George R.R.Martin, David Eddings, Terry Pratchett, Chris Packham, Lee Childs, and James Patterson are but a few of his influences.<br />

Tom had a varied career before penning his first novel; he studied wild badgers at Oxford University, scheduled supermarket deliveries for Safeway, was a Police Constable, a Tenancy Enforcement Officer and currently works as a self-employed Process Server and Private Investigator.</p>
