<p>Like most readers-turned-author, reading was Christie’s first passion. Pleasure reading turned to study-reading when she entered nursing school, and for those college years she didn’t manage to squeeze in very many novels in between textbooks and tests.</p><p>Now a full-time RN, Christie was once again free to explore her beloved fiction, and the only thing that slowed her down was the decision to write her own novel.</p><p>When she attended a booksigning in her area she met authors she admired, and began to learn about the process of creating a romance novel. She turned her idea into her own book, and in 2015 she held her first published book in her hands.</p><p>In the summer of 2016, she attended her first booksigning events as a published author and never looked back!</p><p>Salt Run Publishing is honored to represent Christie’s first romantic suspense, <em>Shattered Pieces</em>.</p><p>Born and raised in Georgia, Christie lives there now with her husband and son. A true southern girl, she loves her sweet tea and football, and lives for weekends surrounded by family and friends.</p>
