<p> I like to say I’ve lived a few different lives—that’s the way I like to do things. I’ve had several careers, traveled widely, and had a variety of experiences in my three decades of life. These days, I live in the Canadian Yukon with my husband and daughter, where the sun never sets in the summer and winter is nine months long. I climb mountains for fun, get dropped off in the middle of the wilderness to find my way back out, and take ten-day paddling trips down rivers in the middle of nowhere with nothing but ourselves for survival. If the zombie apocalypse comes anytime soon, I’m your gal.</p>
