<p>All of Bob’s heroes are storytellers. He loves to explore how authors and filmmakers shape story. Story in film and TV, books, music, theater. And he is passionate about turning young people on to the power of story.</p><p>He and his wife Lynn co-taught a media production class to high school seniors for 11 years. Together they wrote several books to help educators set up school media programs. Bob has also written stories and a novel before venturing into YA fiction.</p><p>Bob publishes several websites and blogs on filmmaking and story. Like Studs Terkel, he is always excited to talk to working people. His sites and blogs feature interviews with global creatives who work in filmmaking, theater, writing, music.</p><p>Bob spent years in New York before moving to Los Angeles with Lynn and their daughter Brianne.</p><p>He honored one of his writer/heroes by attending John Steinbeck's funeral years ago in Manhattan.</p>
