<p>John Ferdinand writes pure psychological horror: a deathly reality created, exacerbated, and validated by the mental state of persons. He believes a good story is the result of a good plot, great characters, and excellent prose. He is inspired by such psychological classics as Silent Hill, Rosemary's Baby, The Orphanage, and experiences in his own life.</p><p>Previously, he worked for eight years in the film and television industries in New Zealand, but is now intending to write and direct his horror stories into horror films.</p>
