<p>Lauren grew up with a passion for reading. On the family road trips, grocery store visits, during any car ride she would always take a book to read. This love for reading was further encouraged when she worked with multi-age children in various school settings. From tutor, to teacher’s assistant, to finally a brief position as a teacher Lauren enjoys spending time with children with a good book to read.</p><p>Lauren’s formal education is from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Affairs and a Minor in Business. After graduating she realized the law school plan was not for her. She felt a pull tugging on her heart to work with children. <em>The Colors of Love</em> is Lauren’s debut book.</p><p>Lauren lives in the same state where she was raised, the state for lovers, Virginia.
