<p>My name is K.J. Johnson. I'm a military brat, originally from Upstate New York, living in Fredericksburg, VA. Throughout my life, I've had many passions ranging from dance to Aikido and Taekwondo. However, writing is something that I have enjoyed since a very young age. I began writing short stories in elementary school for teachers, as terrible as they probably were. And as I got older, I indulged in poetry; I would read them at my parents' promotion ceremonies. Once I realized that I wanted to develop my craft, I studied creative writing in school. Back in 2011, while living in Atlanta, I began writing "Ember Awakening". It took a few years, and a lot of drafts, to finish but I finally reached the publishing stage in December of 2015. For most of my life, I've been intrigued by Supernatural/Fantasy books and movies, so writing this trilogy has been an amazing experience. I hope you enjoy it as well. Book 2 is Coming Soon...</p>
