<p>Dixon James lives in Perth, Western Australia, where he wears a sack over his head due to sun sensitivity. He only takes it off for author photos and his friends are beginning to suspect that he is a vampire.</p>

<p>He has worked as a gardener, video producer, actor, woodcutter and radio announcer. For the last seven years has been constructing his own house due to a deep subconscious desire to bang his head on things. He has a brown belt in Ninjukai Taijutsu and a distrust of misplaced apostrophes.</p>
