Janice Hardy

<p>Janice Hardy is the founder of Fiction University, a site dedicated to helping writers improve their craft. She writes both fiction and nonfiction.</p><p>Her nonfiction books include the Skill Builders series: <em>Understanding Show, Don&rsquo;t Tell (And Really Getting It)</em> and <em>Understanding Conflict</em> <em>(And What It </em>Really<em> Means</em><em>)</em>, and the Foundations of Fiction series: <em>Planning Your Novel: Ideas and Structure</em>, a self-guided workshop for planning or revising a novel; its companion guide, <em>Planning Your Novel Workbook</em>; and <em>Revising Your Novel: First Draft to Finished Draft</em>.</p><p>She&rsquo;s also the author of the teen fantasy trilogy The Healing Wars, including <em>The Shifter</em>, <em>Blue Fire</em>, and <em>Darkfall</em>, from Balzer+Bray/Harper Collins.
