<p>Born in 1964 in Cape Town, South Africa - Michael studied marketing, has never had a job, and is a successful entrepreneur.<br />
HIs first love is science and turning the complex or unpalatable into a banquet of pleasure.</p><p>In 1995 he emigrated to Southern California where he 'accidentally' (it's a long story) wound up with a book agent who sold 3 non-fiction / "how-to" titles - one on how to buy a business, 2 on how to sail.</p><p>In 2000, acting as a business consultant, he patented an online marketing system, raised money in the VC markets, and launched a company.<br />
A family tragedy brought him back home to his native Cape Town where he remains - writing full time.</p>
