<p><strong>Heather Munro Hilliard</strong> is an emergency management professional with more than twenty years of expertise in crisis communications and response. She is an adjunct professor in homeland security and one of 1,000 Certified Emergency Managers in the world. While she has published several emergency management articles and edited academic texts, this is her first novel. Between horseback riding and hiking in the woods with her rescue pup, she is working on her next novel.</p>
