<p>Diane Wild was born in a council house in Birmingham, England. She emigrated to Canada with her husband Barry in 1967, where she continued her trade as a hairstylist until she retired in 2004. She began writing with the story based on her mother’s life as a child of Barnardo’s Homes, entitled Forsaken Trust. Diane Wild is the mother of two and grandmother of four. </p>
